Kalaakashi wallpapers are available in three material finishes i.e. smooth non-woven paper, paper backed canvas textured finish & fabric wall covering. All are printed with eco-friendly inks and offer smooth, textured or luxury finishes as per the choice made.
What makes Kalaakashi wallpapers traditional and Indian?
Our designs are rooted in Indian heritage arts like Ajarakh, Kalamkari, Pichwai, Mughal Miniatures, Gond Art, Kolam Patterns etc. These traditional art forms are digitally adapted into unique wallpaper patterns.
How do I estimate the wallpaper size required?
Measure the wall’s height and width (to the nearest inch), add 3” on each side, and calculate using:
((Height + 3”) x (Width + 3”))/144 = Sqft Required

Can I order wallpaper samples?
Yes. Samples are available in different sizes based on design type (repeat/non-repeat). For non-repeat designs, a scaled-down version with a 12”x12” true size print is provided.
How are Kalaakashi wallpapers installed?
Each wallpaper type requires adhesive suited to the material. The process includes gluing the back evenly and matching the overlaps precisely during wall application. A smooth, dry, defect-free wall surface is essential.
Do you offer wallpaper installation?
We do not provide direct installation services, but you can hire local wallpaper installers.
How do I maintain the wallpaper once installed?
Dust gently using a soft dry cloth. You can use a 1% mild detergent solution to sponge clean (never scrub). Avoid harsh chemicals, moisture retention, or abrasive tools to preserve the print quality.
Where do you deliver?
We ship pan-India and to select international countries.
When will I receive my wallpaper?
All wallpapers are made-to-order and shipped within 1 week. Delivery times vary by location. You’ll receive a tracking link upon dispatch.
What is your return/refund policy?
As these are on demand custom-printed products specifically tailored for your wall, returns/refunds are not available.
However, if there is a quality issue, we offer a free replacement within 2 weeks of verification (not valid after installation or for color variations).
